What age group does the SBCJAC serve?

We serve youth ages 11-18.

How do I find services for my child?
The SBCJAC offers assessments to youth free of charge. Parents are given recommendations and resources at the end of the assessment process.
Will taking my child to the JAC generate a criminal record?
No. The JAC is an early intervention program created to assist at-risk youth and hopefully avoid them getting involved in the Juvenile Justice System.
How much does an assessment cost?
Assessments are provided at no cost.

What are the hours of operation?

The office is open between the hours of 8am-5pm, M-F but assessments can be scheduled after hours if necessary.

Where is the JAC located?

We are located at 1725 10th Street, Gering, NE 69341. We are in the ground floor of the courthouse with the Diversion office.
